H&M started with a single womenswear store by Eriling Persson in Sweden, in 1947. Today, the H&M group has several clearly defined fashion brands and a strong global presence. We have 45 online markets and more than 4,700 stores in 69 markets,and we also welcomed 10,000 new colleagues in 2017, taking our team to 171,000.So far,we have 21 stores in Shenzhen Area.
Our expansion is long-term and we grow both online and with new stores, in existing as well as new markets. For full-year 2018 a net addition of approximately 220 new stores is planned.
